Fun casual game we play at work. They can do so much with this, I hope they add new features! Id like to see the ability to just make chars in the manage char screen. Also, characters that level with each win would be cool. Tournament mode would be great. Finally a mode like tag team, but 1 on 1 where you could have control of who tags in and when. Oh please oh please!

The whole voice/character system is hilarious, especially when your guy goes into battle and the app starts doing weird stuff to your voice recording. Thats where the fun stops though--you cant control your character. Once you make your guy, the whole battle (and rest of the game) is automated. Really, Square Enix?

I like this app. Fun using non-vocal sounds to make heroes. Also addition of premium mode with game center support has made this fun app more fun.

Its fun to make characters, but there isnt much of anything to do with them. Once youve beaten the Deamon King you win. That took about an hour

this game is really simple and really fun its a really great pick up game you can just jump right into and play. Anytime Im bored I just play this. its I think if it had a rpg set up you know story, a strategy, and all that it wouldnt be so easy to pick up and play anytime. I love it my only gripe is the extremly short Demon King campaign.

I liked it when it was 3 dollars. It was too much, but I liked it. Now you give us a 1 dollar sale?

Update with retina graphics and add gamecenter ACHIEVEMENTS! not just leaderboards! WEAK!

Look, Ill admit that the main campagn is short and that the battle system isnt really... well a battle system at all, but its fun for square enix fans to watch the action and keep trying to make better characters. I know it will seem boring to some people, but plenty of others (myself included) will love this! now, there isnt a lot to do here to start with. the main gamemode can take as little as 15 minutes if youre lucky, but as you can see they are updating it. theyve added a new gamemode that will let you play for as long as you like, theyve added new themes for it so you can crack a little smile when you see a demon in a christmas outfit (or so you can make it look really festive!), and now theyve added new characters! knowing Square Enix theres going to be even more, so you can quit your whining about the small ammount of content! Oh, and to everyone complaining about the price: ITS 3 DOLLARS! THE DEVICE YOU ARE USING COSTS SOMEWHERE BETWEEN $100 AND $600!! IF YOU CANT SPARE A SMALL $3 THEN YOU PROBABLY SHOULDNT HAVE BOUGHT THE IPod/IPhone/IPad IN THE FIRST PLACE! MAN YOU PEOPLE ARE CHEAP!

Quit whinning totaly worth it

i loved this game. Got to admit id rather have been avle to play rather than just watching but its great at parties to laugh at your own voice XD

A pretty entertaining distraction, but theres no real gameplay here. There doesnt seem to be much rhyme or reason to the characters levels or personality traits, but the randomness does encourage trying new voices. Its unfortunate that theres no level-up system to give some of the weaker classes a chance to be useful, but whatever - its immensely satisfying to watch my 8-bit warriors scream high-pitched obscenities at each other.

You dont do anything except to yell at a microphone. Its not worth it. This app should be free.

This game brought lots of fun and laughter to my family and friends. I think its worth buying but there is still room for better improvements. I really wish we could battle with others on different iphones and i wish there were more modes to choose from. Also i wish i could control the characters (sometimes the mage has a few hp left and it wont heal but instead attacks which makes the mage lose) and if there is a storyline to it. Thatll be great. I hope youll update this game. Overall i love it. (:

friends showed me and i like it and i have no idea what final fantasy is but i would love to see peer to peer gaming so we can fight each others saved characters aginst one another

Oh Square Enix, I used to have such respect for you. It seems youll slap your name on just about anything these days. If youre expecting anything resembling a final fantasy game, do NOT buy this. This app exists to entertain you by turning your voice into a fairly randomly generated character and letting you pit it against other voices. It might have been cool if your characters leveled up, if you could combine voices, if there were more than only 4 character classes, if there was anything to look forward to or build up to. There is not. That being said, some people may find this kinda quirky and fun, especially with friends. I personally found this entertaining for about 5 minutes. And for that, it gets 2 stars. Would have gotten 3 if it were cheaper. Square, just... stop. Please.

The idea sounded fun but I admit that I just couldnt get it to do anything that seemed to be much. Either its confusing or not very fun. And from a practical point I found I have little time where I can sit and yell to play a game - most of my casual gaming time is in public places.

2 stars, not that impressed -- 1 star for unique concept 1 star for "multiplayer" *****do not buy this app for anything more than .99 !!!!!!! ******** -Expanded single game play controls -longer time to say phrases (making meta gaming more fun) -can saved characters level up plz!! Jeeze...
